Please guys, return your helmets and and bags to Coach Madden or we will not get out rings. He will not order them until he gets his stuff back.. and you know how stubbourn he is about this stuff.
Missing 40 Helmets and 45 bags! so majority of everything is missing.
If you need me to come pick them up, I will, just let me know.

We should change the name of our team from the Oklahoma Thunder to the Oklahoma Step-Dads...Because we beat you, and you hate us. Our logo could be cross-beer bottles with a rolled up belt in the middle, or just a stained wife-beater. Our headlines would read, "Step-Dads lose temper, and abuse Austin," or "Step-Dadden Madden says not in my house!" Instead of championship rings we could get chamionship brass knuckles, one hand would say S-T-E-P,and the other D-A-D-S. I bet we would still have dif…

I want to congratulate the Oklahoma Thunder players on finishing off your second WFL championship in a row. You are the two time defending WFL champs, no matter what your critics say. Now that the season's over, I'd like to recap my top ten criticisms of you guys.
10. You're bad for the league's image
9. You're overrated
8. Your defense is soft
7. You beat up on a weak division
6. You would fold in a close game
5. You get special treatment form the league
4. You talk too much
3. You're poor spo…

Just wanted to be sure and post that there will not be very many All-Star shirts ordered 'extra' -- only the ones that are either ordered and paid for through the link here or the ones I'm notified of through email will be available this weekend. Spread the word to those who are not on here often and get in touch with me ASAP!!
Also to those All-Stars, If you have not contacted us with payment arrangements regarding the purchase of your jersey, you may arrive at the game to find that your jerse…

I wanted to thank the WFL for bringing the Kansas Kaos in this league. I personally feel the competition is much better and the league is much more organized than the other league. I'm aware that we are a young league and it will take time to expand and get things corrected, but I look forward to being a part of this league for a while. I'll probably be coaching next season, so I'm looking forward to playing in the All Star game against the INCREDIBLY STACKED SOUTH! We gonna rep the North though…

I want to say that I'm very pride of the WYFL Oklahoma Thunder 11-12 year old team, for their wins on Saturday. That was 2 of the best games I have ever seen. When it counted the most you guys showed heart and determination. I also want to thank the wonderful coaching staff for all the support that was given to the team. Coach Madden is one of the best coaches I have ever been around. He was able to give the boys the knowledge to play the game well. A very special thanks to James Ashford for mak…

I just want to say thanks to the Okahoma Thunder football team and a speical thanks to a couple of the guys (Jeremy Gray, Keith Marshall, Joey Crawford, Corey Curtis and Clayton Froese) that came out to our AYSA youth football camp. We had 5 of the players come out and help with our football camp, the younger players had so much fun and had one on one help and tips from the PRO's.
I know how important it is to have good role models for our youth and I wouldn't want anyone else around. The Thund…

I haven't blogged in a while but i kind of feel the need after all the venom I've recieved through message boards and emails the last month or so. Before I get started I would like to compliment the emailers ( I have received emails from every fan base in our division and some teams in other divisions, which i find funny because i know these people haven't seen us play) on the very creative ways they have used to insult me personally. I didn't know there were so many ways to call a guy fat. Anyw…

The Arkansas War Cats would like to thank the OKC Gunners for being great hosts this past weekend. They had everything in place for the youth games and the WFL game. Their coaches volunteered to ref the youth games at the last minute, they arranged the field, the announcer, and clock operator for the youth game, they made sure our youth teams were safe in the heat, they had ice for both youth and WFL teams, adequate dressing areas with showers that worked, excellent security that aided us with a…

It's because of these reasons. First, I was a huge fan of the original WFL as a kid. I love the game of American rules football. Finally, I don't believe that the National Football should have a monopoly and control the football entertainment market. I believe that The League should be made to compete with rival leagues in the open market. That's just the American way. Isn't capitalism and free markets cool? I think so!

Well the official kickoff weekend is here and I could not be happier. I know some teams have been playing league games for a couple of weeks but this is the weekend the league set to kickoff. With apologies to our out of league oppnonents I t will be nice to step up in competition. I am very excited to see what the new teams in our league are bringing to the table. I 'll get a good idea the next two weeks, as we play the Lincoln Extreme and Kansas Kaos, both new teams to our league. I'll be inte…
